Job summary

Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe is hiring crew members to join our team in Jasper, AL. You will handle opening and closing tasks, assist on the line, takeout and dine-in guests, and help ensure food safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced food service is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Serving guests and making meaningful connections.
• Opening and closing tasks.
• Being responsible for the restaurant when a manager isn’t on duty.
• Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear directions.
• Mastering menu and product knowledge.
• Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included).
• Prepping food and doing side work.
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift.
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
