Tropical Smoothie Cafe is hiring for full- and part-time team members in Illinois. The role focuses on fast-paced food prep, customer service, and shift leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Morning person with availability 6am–3pm and weekend shifts.

• Able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
• Previous shift leader experience required.
• Serv Safe Food Handler or Food Manager certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders with our point-of-sale system.
• Make food and smoothies according to brand standards.
• Prep food including accurate measuring and weighing.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Stocking and cleanup.
• Handle last-minute absences and schedule changes.
• Train and coach new employees.
• Assign duties to staff during shifts.
• Perform food safety temperature checks.
• Prepare nightly deposit and complete closing tasks.
• Assist team with preparing catering orders.

Salary:

• Starting $15.50 per hour plus hourly tips (Averaging $2.10 per hour extra and increasing!!).
• Increased Pay with experience and availability.
