Tropical Smoothie Cafe | JACE Food Group in Aurora, IL is hiring for part-time and full-time team members. Starting at $17 per hour, plus tips averaging about $2.10 per hour, with opportunities for raises after 90 days and room for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous Shift Leader Experience Required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Taking customer orders with our point-of-sale system
• Making food and smoothies according to brand standards
• Prepping food including accurate measuring and weighing
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
• Stocking and clean-up
• Handle last-minute absences and schedule changes
• Train and coach new employees
• Assigning duties to staff during shifts
• Perform food safety temperature checks
• Prepare nightly deposit and complete closing tasks
• Assists team with preparing catering orders

• Ability to occasionally lift 40lbs

• Previous Shift Leader Experience Required. You are eager to lead a team

• Serv Safe Food Handler or Food Manager Certification preferred but not required

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure

Job Duties Include:

• Starting $17 per hour plus hourly tips (Averaging $2.10 per hour extra and increasing!!).
