Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles.
• Experience in machining and/or assembly in regulated environments (medical device preferred).
• Strong Lean Manufacturing knowledge (5S, standard work, waste reduction, root-cause analysis).
• Experience with ERP/MES production tracking and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations across machining and assembly to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and 5S-compliant work environment and enforce safety procedures.
• Execute daily production plans, prioritize work orders, and coordinate shift handoffs.
• Coach and develop operators and leads; reinforce standard work and performance expectations.
• Monitor production performance and drive problem-solving to remove bottlenecks.
• Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, including visual management and Kaizen.
• Optimize labor, machines, and materials to maximize productivity and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with planning, engineering, and continuous improvement teams on routings and work instructions.
