Job summary

TeDan Surgical Innovations (TSI) in Houston, TX is seeking a 2nd Shift Machining and Assembly Supervisor to lead safe, efficient production on the shop floor. The role oversees machining and assembly, drives daily schedules, and ensures quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, familiarity with Lean (5S, standard work), and experience with ERP/MES systems for production tracking and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing experience
• 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role
• Experience in machining and/or assembly operations
• Experience with ERP and/or MES systems for production tracking and execution

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations across machining and assembly to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals
• Maintain a safe, organized, and 5S-compliant work environment by addressing risks and enforcing safety procedures
• Execute daily production plans, prioritize work orders, and coordinate shift handoffs to keep operations running smoothly
• Supervise, coach, and develop operators and leads while reinforcing standard work, training, and performance expectations
• Monitor production performance, escalate issues, and lead problem-solving to remove bottlenecks and improve flow
