Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Shift Leader at our Minnetonka location to guide the coffeehouse operations in partnership with the GM/ AGM. You will ensure brand standards, product knowledge, cleanliness, and strong guest connections across shifts.

The role requires leadership experience, flexible availability, and a positive, guest-focused mindset. Expect pay ranges shown and opportunities for growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a leadership role, or properly trained and approved to take on Shift Leader responsibilities.
• Shift Leaders are expected to maintain flexible availability to support business needs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of every team member responsibility with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Leads shifts with energy and keeps the shift on track to Make Fun Happen.
• Optimizes product sales while managing waste and maintaining a clean, inviting store.
• Communicates deployment and roles on the floor to keep the shift moving.
• Delivers coaching and feedback to team members during the shift.
• Owns the shift hand-off and ensures smooth transitions between shifts.
• Ensures standard operating procedures are followed and store safety and cash handling standards are met.
• Trains new team members on responsibilities, product knowledge and promotions.
• Develops Team Members through on-the-spot coaching and feedback.
