Job summary

Courthouse Pizzeria is in search of an experienced restaurant leader to serve as Shift Lead, supervising the team and overseeing daily operations during the shift with an emphasis on customer service, product quality, and staff training.

The role requires guiding team members, ensuring excellent guest experiences, managing opening/closing procedures, and maintaining food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic business math and computer skills for POS systems.
• Ability to lead and motivate others in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Prior experience in a food service or leadership role is often preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide and motivate the crew, assign daily tasks, provide feedback, and assist in training new hires.
• Ensure an excellent guest experience by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints professionally, and upholding service standards.
• Lead opening and closing procedures, manage the line, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient workflow during the shift.
• Monitor and enforce product quality standards, oversee food preparation, and ensure adherence to all food safety and sanitation policies.
