Job summary

Far West Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations and ensure a positive guest experience. You will support the General Manager and Assistant Manager, lead shifts, coach team members, and uphold operational standards to maintain excellence.

You will also focus on food safety, ticket times, safety procedures, and staff development to drive a high-performing team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and leadership mindset.
• At least 1 year of restaurant, retail, or leadership experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance.
• Available to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicating restaurant needs and maintenance concerns management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.
