Job summary

Far West Services is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations and coach team members. You will support the General Manager and Assistant Manager by leading shifts, maintaining standards, and ensuring guests receive exceptional service.

This leadership role prepares you for future growth within the company, with opportunities for development and internal promotion. A positive attitude and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and leadership mindset.
• At least 1 year of restaurant, retail, or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicating restaurant needs and maintenance concerns management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.
