Far West Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations with a focus on service, food safety, and team development. You will lead shifts, coach staff, and ensure guests have exceptional experiences, while upholding brand standards.

The role prepares you for future growth within the company and requires strong leadership, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, in Compton, CA.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant, retail, or leadership experience.
• Food Handler Certification required or preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicate restaurant needs and maintenance concerns to management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.
