Whataburger seeks a Shift Leader in Dallas to guide shift operations, mentor Team Members, and uphold quality, safety, and speed on the floor. You’ll drive daily performance and foster a positive work culture through hands‑on leadership.

You will partner with the Restaurant Manager to sharpen shift management, control labor costs, and ensure exceptional guest service. This role emphasizes reliability, adaptability, and a commitment to Whataburger’s standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and dependable attendance.
• Stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and meet physical demands.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• ServSafe Food Certification (or ability to obtain during training).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Coach, train, and motivate Family Members, helping new hires ketchup quickly and seasoned pros turn up the heat.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and basic inventory processes.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture.
• Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running like a well‑oiled fryer.
