Insomnia Cookies in Glassboro, NJ is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee bakery operations during your shift, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from start to finish. You will bake, package, and prepare orders while delivering friendly service.

You will coach and motivate the Cookie Crew, delegate tasks, maintain safety and quality standards, and manage cash handling. Evening, late-night, weekend shifts are common as part of our dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a customer service focused environment (retail, restaurant, hospitality)
• Point of Sale systems experience
• Strong communication, time management, and people skills
• Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor
• Detail oriented and results driven
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
• Legally eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during your shift, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from start to finish.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while providing exceptional guest service.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew members, providing direction and feedback throughout the shift.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to keep operations running efficiently and meet guest demand.
• Help maintain standards for product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
