RaceTrac is hiring Shift Managers in the New York region to lead store teams with energy and a guest-first focus. You will drive daily operations, coach staff in real-time, and ensure food safety, cleanliness, and outstanding service across shifts.

You’ll mentor team members, manage inventory, and maintain strong communication with store leadership. This role offers growth opportunities and a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred)
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication and team-building skills
• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed)

Responsibilities

• Lead a cheerful, can-do attitude and motivate your team
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling
• Coach team members in real-time with guidance and support during every shift
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Train and guide team to meet guest service and food safety standards
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment
• Model accountability and communicate updates from leadership
