Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager in New York to lead a winning team on each shift. You will set a cheerful tone, provide clear direction, and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling while coaching team members in real time.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in retail or food service and 1+ year in leadership, with strong communication skills. You’ll help ensure safety, inventory accuracy, and guest satisfaction daily.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred)
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same
• Strong communication and team building skills
• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.)
