Job summary

Sundae Artisan Ice Cream on 16th Street in Downtown Denver is seeking a Shift Leader to guide a small retail team. You will model excellent customer service, manage opening/closing tasks, and ensure food safety and inventory accuracy while promoting loyalty programs.

The role emphasizes leadership growth, mentorship opportunities, and a positive, collaborative work environment with employee discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
Must be 16 or older.
Some foodservice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a team to success during a shift by setting the example for positive customer interactions, portion control, and cleanliness standards.
Open and close the store timely and efficiently, either solo or with a team.
Monitor stock levels and prepare food items to uphold par levels.
Know product details and service standards to communicate clearly to others.
Promote Sundae’s loyalty programs and seasonal promotions to customers.
Handle cash responsibly and perform opening/closing cash out procedures accurately.
Demonstrate Sundae’s customer service standards with pride and leadership.
Attend staff meetings and participate in team activities.
Maintain all food safety standards and regulations.
