Job summary

Sundae Ice Cream is hiring a Shift Leader to manage daily operations in our ice cream shop.

The role focuses on ensuring exceptional customer service, leading a small team, and maintaining product knowledge and stock. Strong work ethic and reliability are essential; opportunities for mentorship and seasonal continuity are available.

Responsibilities

• Open the store on time, with or without a team.
• Prepare food items and monitor stock levels.

• Attend staff meetings and assist with cleaning tasks.
• Lead a shift to ensure positive interactions and cleanliness.

• Total compensation = averages between $21.00-$25.00 per hour (includes base + tips)
• Full time or part-time positions available
• Daytime or evening availability

• Approximate shift times: 9:30a-5p or 5p-11/11:30p
• Consistent scheduling available!

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Timely and efficiently open the store, either alone or with a team
• Confidently and timely prepare food items; maintain an elevated awareness of stock levels
• Accurately communicate and serve customers with joy, demonstrate thorough knowledge of all product details and service standards
• Maintain responsible cash handling and perform closing cash out procedures accurately
• Exemplify Sundae’s customer service standards; execute with pride and leadership
• Participate in and contribute to all staff meetings and team cleaning tasks
• Lead a team to success during a shift by setting the example for positive customer interactions, portion control, and cleanliness standards
