Job summary

Sundae Artisan Ice Cream is seeking a Shift Leader to join our Snowmass Village team for the winter season. The role involves leading a small team during shifts, serving ice cream with enthusiasm, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Openings are available for full-time or part-time schedules with daytime or evening hours. Benefits include sick pay, employee discounts, health plan contributions, and a 401(k) with employer matching.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Leads by example and is a strong team player.
• Self-motivated with solid work ethic and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Open the store on time, with or without a team.
• Prepare items and monitor stock levels.
• Interact with customers and ensure product knowledge and service standards.
• Handle cash accurately and perform end-of-day cash-out procedures.

• Total compensation = averages between $21.00-$25.00 per hour (includes base + tips)
• Full time or part-time positions available
• Daytime or evening availability

• Approximate shift times: 9:30a-5p or 5p-11/11:30p

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Timely and efficiently open the store, either alone or with a team
• Confidently and timely prepare food items; maintain an elevated awareness of stock levels
• Accurately communicate and serve customers with joy, demonstrate thorough knowledge of all product details and service standards
• Maintain responsible cash handling and perform closing cash out procedures accurately
• Exemplify Sundae’s customer service standards; execute with pride and leadership
• Participate in and contribute to all staff meetings and team cleaning tasks
• Lead a team to success during a shift by setting the example for positive customer interactions, portion control, and cleanliness standards
