Far West Restaurant Group in California is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations, coach team members, and uphold standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will support the General Manager and Assistant Manager, lead shifts, and ensure smooth service across busy periods.

You will train new staff, manage opening/closing, and step into any role as needed to maintain performance and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and leadership mindset.
• At least 1 year of restaurant, retail, or leadership experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required.
• Experience using a POS system preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicating restaurant needs and maintenance concerns management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.
