Job summary

GDLP Restaurant Group, an independently owned Wingstop franchisee in Colorado, seeks a Shift Leader to drive daily restaurant operations and guest experiences. You will support managers, coach team members, and uphold safety and quality standards across shifts.

You will lead by example, communicate clearly, and manage training, opening/closing tasks, and performance metrics to ensure a smooth, high‑energy service environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant, retail, or leadership experience.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicating restaurant needs and maintenance concerns management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.
