Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a winning team on a fast-paced shift. You will set the tone with a cheerful attitude, guide staff through food service, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling, and coach teammates in real time to meet standards.

You’ll drive operational excellence, train teammates on policies, manage inventory and cash controls, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding safety and cleanliness across the store.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
