Job summary

Dog Haus in Richardson, TX is seeking a Shift Leader to guide front- and back-of-house teams, oversee daily operations, and uphold Dog Haus standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.

You’ll lead with energy, train new staff, manage opening/closing, and handle guest issues while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous restaurant supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1–2 years of restaurant or supervisory experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Motivate the team to provide excellent guest service and create a positive work environment.
• Oversee daily shift operations, including opening and closing duties.
• Ensure that food is prepared to Dog Haus standards, and that service is quick and efficient.
• Monitor and manage cash handling, inventory, and supplies.
• Assist in training new employees and ensure Dog Haus compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Troubleshoot any operational or guest issues that arise during your shift.
