Job summary

California Chicken Cafe is seeking a Shift Leader in Santa Monica to motivate, develop, and inspire the team while delivering excellent dining experiences. You will oversee daily operations, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and drive guest satisfaction in a high-volume setting.

The role requires 2+ years in a fast-paced restaurant, strong people skills, and the ability to manage both front-of-house and collaboration with the kitchen.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of previous work experience in a high-volume quick service restaurant.
• Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, and restaurant safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all restaurant areas to ensure excellent dining experiences.
• Maintain a safe, productive work environment for staff.
• Develop and mentor staff through ongoing feedback and performance reviews.
• Ensure guest service quality and address complaints to turn dissatisfied guests into fans.
• Enforce sanitation and food safety standards; monitor cleanliness and standards.
• Assist in staffing planning and scheduling to meet business needs.
