Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Clear Lake, IA is seeking a Service Leader to drive guest satisfaction by enforcing company standards and managing daily operations. You will greet and seat guests, handle payments, and ensure safety and sanitation across the dining area.

You will train team members, oversee food temperatures and dish preparation, and communicate with the Manager on Duty to maintain high service levels. Prior supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic sanitation, safety, and customer service taught through in-house training.
• Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register.
• Clear and effective communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet, seat, and serve guests, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Resolve guest complaints professionally and promptly.
• Handle cash, credit cards, and gift cards accurately.
• Ensure proper facility safety, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Monitor food temperatures to meet safety standards.
• Train staff during shifts for productive performance.
• Ensure menu items are prepared and served to standard.
• Identify and fix system issues to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with Manager on Duty about issues and needs.
• Manage change funds and guest check controls to protect sales and profits.
