Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader at our Highlands location in Louisville. You will oversee a shift, lead the cookie crew, and ensure smooth operations while delivering great customer experiences.

Key responsibilities include coaching teammates, managing tasks across baking, cashiering and packaging, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. The role offers growth within a rapidly expanding brand and a fun, energetic team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a customer service role.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor.
• Detail oriented with results focus.
• Able to lead by example and motivate others.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs; 18+; US work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and products.
• Support store leadership, maintain shift operations.
• Delegate baking, cashiering, packaging and cleaning tasks.
• Collaborate with the Cookie Crew on duties.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow food-safety rules.
• Handle cash and deposits during shifts.
