Job summary

Whataburger is hiring a Shift Leader to keep the restaurant running smoothly and to drive operational excellence on every shift. You will coach and grow Family Members, lead shift management, and partner with the Restaurant Manager team to strengthen daily operations, training, and leadership skills.

Based at your home restaurant in Fort Worth, TX, you will contribute to food safety, cost targets, and customer service while advancing in a supportive, growth-oriented environment with

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours.
• Stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• possess ServSafe Food Certification (or ability to obtain during training)

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members to improve performance.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, and sales performance.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
