RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the floor and drive store performance. You will coach teammates, ensure food safety and cleanliness standards, and support day-to-day operations, inventory, and guest service initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership development and accountability in a store environment, with opportunities for growth within RaceTrac’s divisions across multiple store formats.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred)
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same
• Strong communication and team building skills

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift
• Set a cheerful, can-do tone that motivates the team
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling
• Coach team members in real-time with guidance and support
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Train and guide team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-ins, and promotional communication
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment
