Whataburger is seeking a motivated Shift Leader to drive daily operations at your home restaurant in Texas. You’ll lead the team, ensure quality, service, and cleanliness, and coach Team Members to deliver great guest experiences during busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability, including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and dependable attendance.
• Stand for up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• ServSafe Food Certification (or ability to obtain during training)

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Coach, train, and motivate Family Members — helping new hires ketchup quickly and seasoned pros turn up the heat.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and basic inventory processes.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture.
• Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running like a well‑oiled fryer.
