Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking a Shift Leader for our Geneva, IL location. You’ll supervise daily shifts, ensure quality customer service, and lead by example with a focus on safety and efficiency.

As part of the team, you will train staff, manage ticket times, and uphold Jersey Mike's standards while working closely with managers to maintain store performance and an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Energetic and hardworking with a strong customer service mindset.
• Willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures.
• Team player with flexibility to work day and night shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• 18 years or older and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, and serve with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Input orders into the POS and handle payments accurately.
• Prepare subs with team to meet customer specs while following safety rules.
• Operate kitchen equipment as required and maintain sanitary areas.
• Keep the restaurant clean and organized; assist with scheduling and training.
• Address customer concerns professionally per Jersey Mike's standards.
• Uphold uniform and appearance requirements.
