Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos in Dallas seeks a Shift Leader to ensure each shift runs smoothly and guests enjoy a Damn Good experience. You’ll balance hands-on leadership with team support across FOH and BOH, taking responsibility for opening/closing and daily operations.

You’ll lead with Torchy’s values, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and coach team members to achieve performance standards while maintaining food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a restaurant team.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and guest service best practices.
• Manager/Supervisor ServSafe certifications are required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds and stand long hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain operational excellence.
• Open/close procedures as a key holder when required and secure the facility.
• Delegate tasks to team members to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
• Engage with guests to address needs promptly and professionally.
• Support hiring, training, and mentoring to meet performance standards.
• Uphold FOH/BOH processes, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist inventory, prep levels, and line checks to ensure quality.
