Job summary

KF is seeking a Shift Leader in Sanford, FL to drive daily restaurant performance, coach Team Members, and partner with the management team to meet KPIs. You will ensure food safety, guest satisfaction, and efficient shift execution while upholding KF values.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and partnership with the RGM to optimize labor, inventory, and cash controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Adheres to cash, security, inventory and labor policies.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Accessibility to dependable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity to move up to 50 lbs.
• Attendance and punctuality is a must.
• Operates cash register as needed and makes change for others.
• Basic math skills.
• Maintains customer satisfaction and health/safety standards.
• Promotes and champions KFC's culture and values.
• Provides constructive feedback to Team Members.
• Executes shift duties accurately and efficiently.
• Promotes equity, inclusion and belonging.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by executing KFC Connect Success Routine.
• Oversee Team Members' completion of shift tasks and maintain clean appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Provide regular feedback to the RGM on Team Member performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive feedback to Team Members.
• Actively participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with the RGM to resolve.
• Assist the RGM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory and managing labor.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking and holding times.
• Assist the RGM with facility maintenance and health/safety standards.
