RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager in a fast-paced retail environment in the Cookeville area. You will lead a winning team on each shift, coach staff in real time, and address guest concerns with empathy while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

You will drive store operations, manage inventory and cash handling, and communicate promotions and updates from leadership. A strong communicator who leads by example will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift; set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude and provide direction.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Drive Operational Excellence; train and guide your team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, cash handling, and promotional communication; ensure shift changes run smoothly.
