RaceTrac is seeking a proactive Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team and ensure outstanding guest service. You will guide daily operations, coach team members, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards while delivering results during your shift.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, and collaboration across departments, with opportunities for growth into General or Co-Managers as part of our promotion track. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift.
• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s standards for guest service, safety, and cleanliness.
• Oversee key store processes including inventory, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
