Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, greet guests, manage daily operations, and role model accountability. You’ll drive guest service, food safety, stocking, cash handling, and teamwork on your shift.

You’ll coach teammates, monitor inventory, communicate with Co-Manager and General Manager, and ensure standards are met. Flexible schedules and growth opportunities from store leadership to General Manager roles.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail/food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and set a positive tone.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide the team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
