RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, drive guest satisfaction, and model strong leadership on every shift. You’ll coach associates, ensure food safety and cleanliness standards, and manage cash wrap, inventory, and promos with a proactive mindset.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, accountability, and teamwork to deliver top service. A background in retail or food service plus a readiness to grow into higher-responsibility roles is ideal.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Set a cheerful, can-do tone that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time with guidance and support.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide the team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication are executed correctly.
• Oversee key store processes including write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance.
