Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team on a single shift. You will set the tone, coach teammates, and ensure guest satisfaction while handling food service, stocking, and cash handling with a proactive, safety‑minded approach.

You will train staff to meet RaceTrac standards, manage inventory and cash processes, and communicate updates from leadership to the crew, fostering accountability and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED in progress or completed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift with a cheerful, can-do attitude.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide the team to meet service, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, cash wrap, and compliance documentation while maintaining calm leadership.
