Job summary

Steak ’n Shake is seeking a Shift Manager in Ohio to lead daily restaurant operations and ensure openings/closings with a strong team focus. You will coach staff, deliver fast, friendly service, and uphold brand standards of cleanliness and food safety.

The role requires US work authorization, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. EVerify and background checks are conducted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• US work authorization required.
• Prior supervisory/restaurant management experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent guest service and professional demeanor.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability.
• Openings/closings and set up the team for success.
• Motivate and coach team members for success.
• Provide fast, friendly, accurate service that exceeds guests' expectations.
• Ensure brand standards: cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
• Handle opening/closing duties, deposits, and end-of-day reports.
• Train and onboard new team members.
