RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a winning team on your shift, set a cheerful tone, and ensure guest satisfaction while supporting food service, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling.

You will coach staff in real time, drive operational excellence, supervise safety and cleanliness standards, manage inventory and promotions, and communicate with leadership to keep the team aligned and engaged. Weekly pay and growth opportunities await you at RaceTrac.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience recommended.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary
• Drive Operational Excellence and ensure guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day
• Model Communication & Accountability and relay important updates from leadership
• Monitor task completion and provide immediate feedback to drive results
• Support a team culture rooted in accountability, respect, and teamwork
• Proactively step in during busy times to show great leadership
