Modern Market Eatery is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to manage shifts, ensure guest experience, and uphold food quality in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting. The role supports the manager on duty and coordinates team tasks across all stations.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of shift leadership in a restaurant, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task while maintaining safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
• Continually monitor food and food quality.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts.
• Run the shift and ensure employees take breaks at the appropriate times.
• Work all stations and adapt to where you are most needed.
• Assist the Manager with other duties as needed.
