Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the bakery team, bake and package orders, and deliver a warm guest experience. You will lead by example on every shift and help the team stay efficient and cheerful.

As a front‑line leader, you’ll coach the Cookie Crew, delegate tasks, and ensure quality, safety, and speed of service while coordinating with store leadership. Join us and grow your leadership skills in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during your shift and ensure a great guest experience.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while delivering excellent service.
• Coach and motivate team members, provide direction and feedback.
• Prioritize tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management and deposits.
• Communicate updates with store leadership to optimize operations.
• Jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
