Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is looking for a Shift Leader who will run bakery operations during shifts, bake and package orders, coach the Cookie Crew, and ensure top guest experiences. You’ll lead by example, manage tasks, and help keep the bakery running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in customer-focused roles, strong communication, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Evening and weekend availability is common, with flexibility for peak hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality or another customer-focused environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certifications applicable to the location.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during each shift to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while delivering strong guest service.
• Coach and motivate team members, provide direction and feedback.
• Prioritize tasks and delegate to keep operations efficient.
• Maintain product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash, register accountability, and deposits.
