Russo's New York Pizzeria is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations and act as the Manager on Duty. You will lead across front of house and kitchen, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and adherence to standards.

You will drive team performance, coach staff, and coordinate scheduling, ordering, and store organization. The role requires energy, reliability, and a readiness to work across all restaurant areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Basic math skills, including counting back change.
• Comfortable speaking, reading, and writing basic English.
• Outgoing, positive, and confident personality.
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt quickly.
• Team-first mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
• Willingness to cross-train in all areas of the restaurant.
• Professional appearance in line with uniform standards.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to stand or walk for 6–8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the shift as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Delivering a positive guest experience and resolving issues as they arise.
• Ensuring food quality, accuracy, and adherence to Russo's standards.
• Supporting scheduling, organization, ordering, and team coordination.
• Coaching team members and maintaining a high sense of urgency.
• Keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and running efficiently.
• Jumping on across all roles when needed.
