Job summary

Smoothie King in Palatine, IL is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to help guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by guiding smoothie selections and promoting a friendly, active lifestyle. You will support the General Manager when needed and help supervise the team during shifts.

The role requires at least 1 year of team member experience in retail or food service, basic Microsoft Office and POS know-how, strong communication, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a team member in a restaurant or similar retail customer service business.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Knowledgeable of general POS functionality.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to give and receive feedback.
• Must be extremely reliable.

Responsibilities

• Blends delicious tasting smoothies.
• Ensures Guest’s purpose is met when smoothies are ordered.
• Greets and engages the Guest to provide a friendly experience
• Properly preps all fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Performs store checklist tasks.
• Shows up on time and ready to work.
• Lives and promotes the culture, values, and mission of Smoothie King
• Assists in Team Member management throughout shifts.
• Fulfills cash handling, inventory, and open/closing store assignments.
