13th and Penn | Pret A Manger in Washington, DC is seeking a Team Leader to run shifts, coach teammates, and uphold Pret standards. You’ll lead by example, ensure smooth operations during peak times, and drive a culture that delivers great guest experiences while growing leadership capabilities.

The role offers a competitive hourly pay of $21.50 plus a Mystery Shopper Bonus and tips, with opportunities to advance within Pret’s shop leadership track.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supervisory experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must have NYC Food Handlers Card and be able to work in person +30 hours.

Responsibilities

• Run shifts from open to close with confidence.
• Coach and train Team Members on food prep, barista skills, and service standards.
• Provide real-time feedback and align daily goals during pre-shifts.
• Create a positive, energized shop environment and address performance issues.
• Ensure Pret standards and guest service are delivered consistently.
• Oversee safety, cleanliness, and adherence to procedures.
