- Proficient in all customer service representative job responsibilities.
- Practices and promotes the FiveStar treatment (friendly atmosphere, customer’s needs met, suggestive selling).
- Partners with FiveStar team to provide customers with service as outlined by the company’s policies and procedures.
- Assists in timely and thorough training of customer service representatives.
- Assists in educating store team on policies and communications.
- Assists store management in ensuring inventory control methods are in place, equipment is in good condition, and safety and robbery prevention guidelines are followed.
- Partners with store management to ensure quality food operation.
- Follows up with store employees on communications, including emails, weekly and monthly specials, and companywide programs.
- Responsible for merchandising, including evaluating displays, pricing, and promotional signage.
- Educates store employees.

Description
General Summary: The Shift Leader partners with the store management team to learn and assist with overall store operations during an assigned shift, including Customer Service, Food Service, and marketing. They assist in training and directing customer service representatives and learn basic management duties.
Essential Job Duties

- Partners with the team to provide customer service per company policies.
- Assists in training customer service representatives.
- Helps educate the store team on policies and communications.
- Ensures inventory control, equipment condition, and safety guidelines are maintained.
- Collaborates with management to ensure quality food operation.
- Follows up on communications, including emails, specials, and programs.
- Responsible for merchandising, including display evaluation and signage.
- Educates store employees.
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Team player, customer-focused, honest, hardworking, with excellent attendance.
- Basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work various shifts (morning, evening, overnight), weekends, and holidays.
- Physical activity including standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, climbing, walking, lifting up to 55 lbs, working in cold environments, and food prep.
- Ability to work in varying seasonal weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills.
