Job Description
Summary: Assists in daily oversight, coordination, and execution of objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
Summary: Delivers excellent service, product, and image standards to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides leadership support to the Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Maintains high standards of customer service during high-volume, fast-paced operations.
- Communicates clearly and positively with management and team members.
- Greets customers in person or via phone and takes orders professionally and promptly.
- Provides excellent customer service to encourage repeat business, including menu and specials information.
- Supports shift management.
- Communicates daily job assignments for each shift.
- Oversees pre-close functions, ensuring service and food quality standards are maintained.
- In the Front of the House (FOH): Oversees cash management duties, counts registers, tracks cash and coupons for accountability, and processes daily reports.
- In the Back of the House (BOH): Adheres to waste tracking procedures and food and labor cost practices.
- Supports upselling additional products.
- Masters Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing.
- Handles transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Follows procedures for safe food preparation, assembly, and presentation.
- Assists with inventory control and stock ordering.
- Builds customer loyalty through friendly interactions and appreciation.
- Resolves complaints promptly and professionally.
- Cross-trains and coordinates scheduling with team members.
- Proactively finds additional tasks when scheduled duties are complete.
- Assembles and folds boxes, affixes labels and promotional materials.
- Prepares various menu items, measures ingredients, and reads orders accurately.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of work stations and storage areas.
- Transfers supplies and tools as needed.
- Labels and packs products as required.
- Alerts management to food shortages.
- Adheres to quality standards and company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
