Job summary

Slim Chickens is seeking a Shift Leader in Waukee, IA to guide daily operations in the absence of upper management. You’ll lead the team, ensure tasks are understood, and uphold our service standards while working evenings and weekends.

Ideal candidates have fast casual experience, a high school diploma, and strong leadership and customer service skills to maintain a respectful, professional culture and deliver excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more fast casual restaurant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant in the absence of upper management and communicate goals to the team.
• Ensure the team understands tasks and daily operations.

The Shift Leader is responsible for the overall leadership in the absence of upper management. The Shift Leader ensures the team has a clear understanding of what needs to be done. As our Shift Leader (SL), you impact all daily operations, and your skills are critical to the success of your restaurant and team.
