Job summary

Pembroke & Co., Inc. is seeking a Shift Leader to support day-to-day operations for a renowned QSR brand. This on-site role offers 20-35 hours per week with flexible scheduling, peak hours during lunch and dinner from Thursday to Sunday, and potential growth within a year as the portfolio expands.

Relocation assistance is available for candidates; training and development are provided to grow with the brand. The position emphasizes hands-on leadership and adherence to brand standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership or management experience, quick-service restaurant preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to sit/stand for up to 12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Train new crew members.
• Assist with sales program implementation to leverage opportunities.
• Oversee daily operations to support labor budgets, food cost targets, guest surveys and brand standards.
• Perform weekly and monthly payroll, scheduling, product ordering and inventory counts.
• Support and cover the General Manager as needed.

Position Overview

Supporting a renowned QSR brand, the Shift Leader role supports the day-to-day operations.

This position works 20-35 hours a week and allows flexible scheduling. The brand's peak hours are during lunch & dinner, Thursday-Sunday. There are growth opportunities within 1-year of employment as the portfolio continues to grow. Candidates who need to relocate will be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

The Shift Supervisor will support a standard of excellence and assist in the team's development towards success.

• Assist with training new crew members.
• Assist with the implementation of sales programs to leverage business opportunities.
• Oversee daily operations to support labor budgets, food cost targets, guest surveys, and brand standards.
• Perform weekly and monthly administrative tasks such as: payroll, scheduling, product ordering, and inventory counts.
• Support and cover for General Manager, as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a leadership or management role, quick-service restaurant experience preferred.
• This is a leadership role; a demonstrated understanding of confidentiality is required.
• This is a hands-on position; candidates should be able to sit, stand, traverse, etc. for up to 12 hours and lift up to 50lbs.
