Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking a seasoned maintenance leader in the United States to supervise line teams and drive continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor. The role focuses on autonomous maintenance, progressive maintenance, and Six Sigma methodologies to sustain and improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery metrics.

You will model priority setting and coach teams while coordinating with unionized labor when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in a high‑performance manufacturing/warehousing/distribution environment.
• Strong problem solving, coaching and communication skills with attention to detail.
• People leadership excellence and ability to work in a union environment.
• Proficiency with SAP and MS Excel required; Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets.
• Lead shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stoppage reduction, and loss elimination.
• Coach and train line teams; manage priority setting and the plan‑do‑check‑adjust cycle.
• Ensure safety processes (LOTO, BOS) are observed and quality assurance activities are performed.

How You Will Contribute

You are a key ingredient in helping us change how the world snacks. You will operate and maintain equipment to build technical mastery and to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets, understanding losses in your area and taking the appropriate action to eliminate them. You will use autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new product development. In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed [e.g. safety maps, lock out tag out (LOTO) , behavior observation system (BOS) and root-cause analysis (RCA)], that quality assurance activities are performed to ensure zero harm and 100 percent good-quality products, and that resources are properly allocated and available during the shift. You will take the lead for shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.

• Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems
• Maintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment
• Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3
• Leading line teams
• Handling challenging interpersonal situations tactfully
• Influencing people in a union environment
• Communicating effectively verbally and in writing and good attention to detail

Job specific requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of demonstrated experience as a supervisor in a high- performance manufacturing, warehousing, and/or distribution work environment.
• Proven problem solving, communications and coaching skills with strong attention to detail.
• People Leadership Excellence.
• SAP experience and proficiency in MS Excel.
• LEAN Six Sigma certification is preferred.
• HS Diploma Required.

Work schedule: Flexibility to work different shifts. – 24/7, open availability on weekends and night shifts

Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $77,600 to $106,700; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time.
