Responsibilities include overseeing crew members in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager, coaching, directing, recognizing outstanding behavior, and establishing priorities. You will also train crew members on policies and procedures, ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, and handle opening and/or closing the restaurant. Creating and ensuring a superior guest experience and contributing to cost and profit goals are also key responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Experience: Certified on all EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience.
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; must pass EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) upon hire.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; second language a plus.
• Competencies: Basic math, computer skills, and strong customer service skills.
• Food Handler Card: Serve Safe Certificate required at hire or upon obtaining it.
• Work Hours: Full-time, with some overtime expected.
• Career Growth: Opportunities to advance from Shift Leader to Assistant Manager, General Manager, Area Leader, and beyond.
• Work Attire: EPL logo shirt, black slacks, and no-slip shoes required.
