A Shift Leader supports the management team in daily operations, including:

• Coaching staff on customer service;
• Ensuring high-quality food production;
• Delivering the Jersey Mike's experience;
• Cash handling;
• Following training programs;
• Developing team members for growth;
• Enforcing policies and procedures;
• Participating in marketing initiatives;
• Building sales;
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation;
• Being certified in all restaurant positions;
• Effective communication;
• Having a sense of urgency;

Expectations for a Shift Leader include:

• Moving or transporting up to 50 lbs (with considerations for disabilities);
• Working 38-40 hours weekly;
• Reliable transportation;
• Effective communication with management;
• Leading by example in food quality, interaction, and appearance.

Additional responsibilities include creating high-quality food, maintaining cleanliness, multitasking, providing excellent customer experiences, and managing a team of 2-5 people. Proficiency in slicing and baking bread is required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred 1 year QSR experience, Serve Safe Certification, and reliable transportation. Must be 18+ to operate the slicer.
